Scarlet Tracking Hound

Located in Huntsman's Cloister, Scarlet Monastery - Old (Dungeon). Found in the Library wing of the original (pre-Cataclysm) version of the Scarlet Monastery. To unlock this dungeon account-wide in the retail game, you need to obtain The Scarlet Key on one of your characters (not necessarily your hunter). During the Hallow's End festival in October this key drops frequently from the Headless Horseman event dungeon boss, especially if you activate all four curses inside the instance, otherwise you might be able to get one from a friend or on the Auction House. Once you've obtained a key, proceed to the Scarlet Monastery (non-instanced) and you'll find a keyring with a quest symbol just up the first stairs. Complete this quest to create an interactive keyring on the wall that you can activate any time you want to visit the original versions of the four dungeon wings. Behind Doan, the final boss in the Library wing, is Doan's Lockbox, which can contain another copy of the Scarlet Key for you to give away or auction.
